DURAROLLER
Manufactured & Recovered Rollers

The Challenge from the print trade
for rubber rollers
To address the ever more specific performance demands coming from
the print industry.
Run Faster, Run
Hotter, Start Colder; Reduce Swelling, Shrinkage & Hardness Change ,
Improve Damper Wetting, whilst retaining Quality , Cost
Effectiveness, Safety and Environmental Compliance, Repeatability
etc has led our development project aimed at raising performance
levels in the areas most relevant to high quality, competitive
printing. |
We have brought together a group of compounds and formulations
developed individually to address each issue and combined many to
improve upon existing performance
The PRS range has
been tested throughout its development in standard print conditions
in a variety of machines and applications
Rollers manufactured from PRS and sold commercially have been in
print machines for up to 2 years.
Today's printing
rollers must operate in a range of chemical environments. These can
cause the rollers to change size, requiring production stops to to
reset the press. The PRS series is designed to eliminate this
problem by quickly reaching a dynamic equilibrium between the roller
and its environment with minimal chemical exchange.
The PRS series
compounds are suitable for the fastest web fed processes. They have
high dynamic resilience. this means that during the print run,
hysterisis loss in the rubber is minimised and less stored energy is
converted into heat. The roller will therefore run cooler than less
resilient rollers.
PRS Offers a
range of compounds that are suitable for rubber rollers in any
position in any machine
PRS Performance
matches that of any original equipment
