DURAFOIL
Ink Duct Foils

In today’s printing industry there is
a requirement for high quality brushes. They are an important
component of many offset press sheet feeder, sheet steadier and
press blanket wash systems. The Durabrush range of brushes has been
specifically developed for these purposes to suit leading press
makes.
RANGE
DURABRUSH Feeder Wheels are available to suit the following press
makes:
Heidelberg, Komori, Man Roland, Mitsubishi, Fuji Shinohara, Bobst
Die Cutters, Miehle, Planeta, KBA, Miller.
• DURABRUSH Sheet Steadier or “hold down” brushes are available for
use on an extensive range of press makes (see feeder wheels).
• DURABRUSH Blanket Wash brushes are available for Heidelberg SM102
models and Man Roland 300, 700 and 900 series presses. |
APPLICATION
• The DURAFOIL range of consumables are for use on all Heidelberg
CPC machines including the latest SM, CD and Quickmaster models.
• DURAFOIL Ink Duct Foil is an integral part of the CPC system. It
is fitted into the Ink Duct Tray. The purpose of the foil is to act
as a medium between the cam system and the ink duct roller. It
prevents the ink from coming into contact with the highly engineered
cam system. As a consumable product, the Ink Duct
Foil is designed to be disposed of at the end of
each print run which enables a fast and easy
colour change.
• Underliner Protective Foil is an extra protective polyester tape
placed between the Ink Duct Foil and the cam as an insurance against
the contamination of the ink duct system.
• Insulating Strip is a double-sided tape that is used to fasten the
Ink Duct Foil into the duct.
• Tessamol Strip is a cellular foam placed along the bottom fold of
the Ink Duct Foils to avoid seepage of excess ink back into the
machine.
• The Ink Duct End Blocks and Scraper Cleaner are used together to
seal either side of the duct.
